Laura and Ryan’s Ronda Mountain Resort wedding took place on 5 September 2026, surrounded by 60 of their closest family and friends. Set in the mountains of Ronda in southern Spain, their celebration combined a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere with a romantic, elegant aesthetic and a day full of genuine emotion.
From the quiet moments of the morning preparations to the outdoor ceremony, emotional speeches and champagne tower later in the day, everything unfolded with an easy rhythm. The cloudy skies and gentle September temperatures made the outdoor celebration especially comfortable, while the wind added movement and character to the photographs.

One of the most special things about Laura and Ryan’s wedOne of the things I enjoyed most about photographing this Ronda Mountain Resort wedding was how naturally the different parts of the day flowed between the villa, outdoor ceremony and reception spaces.
The speeches reflected that same feeling. There were emotional moments, plenty of laughter and the kind of reactions that happen when people feel completely at ease. With only 60 guests, the wedding felt intimate enough for Laura and Ryan to spend real time with everyone, while still keeping the energy and excitement of a full destination celebration in Ronda.
MY HIGHLIGHTS
What I loved most about Laura and Ryan’s wedding was how naturally everything unfolded. The soft September light, the wind moving through the outdoor spaces, the emotional speeches and the energy around the champagne tower all gave the day its own rhythm. Nothing felt over-produced, and that allowed me to photograph the celebration in the documentary, emotional way I always look for.

The architecture of the villa, the surrounding mountains and the outdoor celebration areas create several distinct visual settings within a relatively compact space. On Laura and Ryan’s wedding day, the cloudy September light worked especially well across these areas, giving us soft, flattering light throughout much of the celebration and allowing the couple and their guests to remain outside comfortably.
