Casa de la Era Marbella — Rustic Elegance in the Hills
Casa de la Era sits in the hills above Marbella with a double panorama: sea on one side, Sierra Blanca on the other. The venue has a distinctive rustic-elegant character — natural stone, exposed wood, and terraces framed by Mediterranean gardens — that makes it one of the most atmospherically photogenic options in the area.

Just 15 minutes from Marbella in Estepona, Cortijo San Francisco is a classic Andalusian cortijo with whitewashed walls, stone patios, and mature gardens. Ideal for 80–180 guests.
Hacienda del Álamo (Málaga, 30 min)
Set 30 minutes from Marbella in the Málaga countryside, Hacienda del Álamo is one of the most impressive historic hacienda venues in the province. With capacity for 200+ guests, grand interiors, and sweeping estate grounds, it’s the standout choice for large celebrations that need both scale and character.
SMALL AND INTIMATE WEDDING VENUES IN MARBELLA
Small wedding venues in Marbella are, in my opinion, where the magic really happens. When you have 70 guests or fewer, every single person in that room matters — and the venue, the light, the pace of the day can all centre on what you actually care about, rather than on managing logistics for a crowd.
The Best Venues for Weddings Under 70 Guests

For couples set on a beach wedding in Marbella, Spain, the most established venues include Nikki Beach Marbella, La Cabane Beach Club, and Ocean Club Marbella — all offering direct beach access and curated wedding packages.
From a photography perspective, beach ceremonies offer extraordinary light but require planning: the best light is 90 minutes before sunset, wind can be a challenge for veil shots, and high tide can limit usable beach space. Always check conditions when booking. Ceremonies typically start at 19:00–20:00 in summer for optimal golden hour portraits.
Le Cabane Beach Club
Marbella’s most intimate beach club wedding venue. Directly on the sand with panoramic Mediterranean views, Le Cabane works beautifully for ceremonies of 30–80 guests. The whitewashed terrace catches perfect golden light from 19:00 onwards in summer. No big club energy — just elegance, sea breeze, and the sound of waves during your vows.
Trocadero Arena — Marbella
One of the Costa del Sol’s most spectacular beach wedding venues, Trocadero Arena sits directly on Playa de la Barrosa with capacity for up to 500 guests. The open-air arena format creates a natural amphitheatre effect — ideal for large ceremonies with real visual impact. Sunsets here face due west, which means the light during the reception hour is nothing short of cinematic.

Marbella Old Town Weddings
Wedding venues in Marbella Old Town are a different proposition entirely. The Casco Antiguo — with its whitewashed walls, orange trees, and medieval churches — isn’t a venue in itself, but it provides extraordinary location photography for couples based at nearby fincas and villas.
The iconic Plaza de los Naranjos is a favourite portrait location: at 6am, before any tourists arrive, it’s magical — terracotta tiles, orange blossom, and ancient arches. I photographed the Finca Amalur wedding in May 2023 using both the Plaza and Iglesia La Encarnación, where the religious ceremony took place. For couples planning a church ceremony, La Encarnación is one of the most beautiful historic churches in Andalucía — and virtually unknown to international couples. Zero competition, maximum impact.
